Black History

The Black History Month Committee at Shrewsbury High School holds an annual school-wide art contest every February. Students are given different prompts each year.
In 2011, students were asked to take inspiration from music genres including African Tribal, Gospel, Jazz Era (Swing Blues Jazz), Motown Music, 70's, 80's, and 90's (Michael Jackson era) and Hip/Hop/Rap.
