This is a series of eight lithographs I created in 2001. The series uses images of the buddha and bodhisattvas collaged with other Asian images and text. The photographs in the lithographs were taken on my trips to Hong Kong and Indonesia. Most of them were created by cutting and pasting the different layers of the collage by hand. However, the last three in the series (Kuan Yin, Beauty, and Borobudur) were created using Adobe Photoshop. The collaged images and photoshop images were then put onto a lithographic plate and printed in editions of 30. I also printed more limited editions in color using chin colle and colored inks.
